Automate Accounts (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our Zoho Marketplace extension for Zoho CRM and Zoho WorkDrive. By installing and using the extension, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

 

Information We Collect

When you use our extension, we may collect the following information:

  • Authentication Information: OAuth tokens, API keys, and session identifiers needed to connect to your Zoho account.
  • Account Details: Zoho account ID and organization ID
  • Usage Data: Metadata such as folder IDs and CRM record references necessary for automation functions.
  • System Logs: Technical logs for troubleshooting errors and performance.

We do not collect or store the contents of your CRM records or WorkDrive files unless explicitly required for the automation.

 

How We Use Your Information

We process the collected data for the following purposes:

  1. To authenticate your Zoho account and establish a secure connection.
  2. To retrieve CRM and WorkDrive metadata and automate folder creation/renaming.
  3. To maintain extension security and performance.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.

We store authentication data only for as long as your account is active in the extension.
Upon removal of the extension or a data deletion request, we permanently delete your stored data within 30 days.

Your data is processed and stored on Zoho Catalyst servers located in the United States. As a result, if you access our extension from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and handled in the US data center. We implement appropriate safeguards—including encryption and contractual measures—to ensure your data remains protected in accordance with applicable laws and standards.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the data we store about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting the extension
