Zoho Books Just Added a Super Admin Role You Should Check

Zoho just rolled out a new Super Admin role across its finance apps, including Zoho Books. It's automatically assigned to whoever originally created your organization, whether or not that's still the right person today.
This role sits above regular admins, with rights they don't have. If the person who first set up your Zoho account isn't your current bookkeeper, accountant, or owner, they may now be the one person with the most control over your books without anyone realizing it.
What changed
Unlike a regular Admin, added intentionally by someone with the authority to do so, the Super Admin role is assigned automatically and retroactively, to whoever originally created the organization in Zoho, regardless of their current relationship to the business.
This rolled out across Zoho's Finance applications as a set, not as an isolated Books-only change, so it's worth checking anywhere in that suite your organization uses, not just Books itself.
Why it matters
This happens more than you'd think. Zoho accounts get set up years before ownership or staff change, and access rights rarely get revisited once the account is running.
Worth five minutes to check who holds that role in your account, and whether it's still the right person.
